Initially, a number of sugarcane derivatives and yeasts from all over the world were used to create 12 distinct silver rums. It took 3 months of tastings by rum enthusiasts to produce a clear winner in all categories. The recipe that consistently won in every tasting became AVALON Silver Rum.
Handmade by The California Spirits Company in San Marcos, CA, this craft rum is the culmination of the artisanal process that focuses on the highest level of precision, consistency, and quality. Due to AVALON’s sweet flavor profile, it’s more versatile than traditional rum. While it presents a marked improvement to a Mojito, Mai Tai, Pina Colada or Rum & Coke, it also mixes well with almost any fruit juice—from the sweetness of pineapple to the tartness of cranberry.
